For Students

  • Do I need to be a US resident to apply?

    No. At Vedere Institute, we believe that access to education should be borderless. As a global institution, we are proud to welcome students from all over the world to our dynamic and innovative programs.

  • What are the application requirements for international students?

    International students who are non-native speakers will need an approved proof of English certificate, such as the Duolingo, IELTS, ITEP, and TOEFL. Our expert admissions team will be happy to work with you in the event you do not already have this.

  • What kinds of programs do you offer?

    At Vedere Institute, we believe that education should prepare you for the real world. We offer a variety of programs, each with a focus on developing the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in today’s dynamic and rapidly evolving industries.   • How many students per class?

    Although our programs are delivered online, we recognize the value of small classes in fostering meaningful interactions amongst students and with faculty and invited experts. At Vedere Institute, you can therefore expect small class sizes of 15-20 students on average.

  • What is the format of the classes?

    At Vedere Institute, we understand the importance of balancing flexibility and structure in your education. That is why we have crafted our programs to give you the best of both worlds. All of our courses are delivered fully online with a blend of asynchronous and synchronous activities designed to give you the flexibility you need to manage your commitments while ensuring steady progression and structured learning.Vedere Institute students enjoy flexibility in how they approach the asynchronous elements of each course – such as readings and pre-recorded videos – so long as they keep pace with the overall 8-week course schedule. The synchronous elements are designed to supplement your self-directed learning, facilitate deeper examination of core topics, and provide opportunities to interact with fellow students, instructors, and other industry experts.

  • What is the expected workload?

    In general, students can expect to dedicate 12-15 hours per week per course to complete the required learning, instructional and assessment activities.

  • Will I be offered extra academic support during my time with Vedere Institute?

    Each student will be assigned a Student Services Manager, who will be able to support them throughout their entire academic journey. This will include support with course selection and registration and with questions about overall program requirements and academic policies. Should any students have health or well-being issues, they will be able to contact their Student Services Manager to discuss potential support and services related to accessibility and reasonable adjustments.

  • How will I get access to the course material?

    All materials will be made available to our students through our learning platform, built on the powerful technologies and vast functionality of Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 to perfectly suit our programs and your learning. Extensive information about the learning platform and how to access it and other learning tools and resources will be provided as part of your orientation. 

  • Will time zones be considered when structuring lessons?

    Yes – Vedere Institute is a global education provider, and we will always ensure that our programs are fully centered around the needs of our students.

  • How is success measured? Exams, tests, etc.

    At Vedere Institute, the assessment of courses has been carefully designed to ensure that they align with course learning outcomes and will require you to demonstrate your understanding of the topics and your ability to critically articulate and apply them in a practical way.

    Each course has been designed to be assessed through a combination of individual and group assignments. Assignments will focus on both formative and summative assessments of your understanding of the key concepts.

  • What are the registration dates?

    Registration dates are outlined in the academic calendar found in the Academic Catalog. In general, enrollment for courses opens about 8-10 weeks in advance of a given term. For specific information, please consult the Academic Catalog or reach out to your Student Services Manager.

  • When do I need to pay?

    Methods of payment for Vedere Institute degree programs include an option for full payment at the time of signing the Enrollment Agreement and an option for a payment plan comprising three equal payments. More details will be provided in the latter stages of the application and admissions process.

About the Vedere Institute Programs

  • Do I need previous coding experience? (MSADS)

    There is no requirement for prior coding experience for the MSADS program. For students who have never developed software code or would like to hone their coding expertise, there will be optional coding sessions designed to help get them up to speed quickly.

  • What is the duration of the program?

    The duration of Vedere Institute degree programs is flexible and, within certain limits, can be adapted to meet your own personal aims and commitments.The MSADS program can be completed anywhere from 12 months to 2 years. The MSHM program can be completed anywhere from 14 months to 4 years.

  • How many credits per program?

    Each degree program at Vedere Institute comprises 36 credits in total, spread across 12 required courses of 3 credits each.
