Award of Degree

Assessment Board

The Institution’s Assessment Board is responsible for granting degrees. Its responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that students have fulfilled all necessary requirements and approving degree awards.
  • Taking note of and, when appropriate, considering requests for extending the normal duration of studies or any study interruptions.
  • Approving students’ withdrawal from the program.
  • Ensuring consistent adherence to the Program Regulations.

To be eligible for approval, students must meet the following requirements:

  • Fulfill the minimum program requirements as stated in the regulations.
  • Meet the program requirements within the specified timeframe.
  • Not be involved in any ongoing disciplinary proceedings or subject to any sanctions.
  • Not have any outstanding tuition debts to the Institution.

Graduation

Upon fulfilling all degree requirements, students will receive a letter of completion and a transcript. Diplomas are issued annually.

Revocation of Degrees

The Institution may at any time revoke any degree if sufficient evidence can be provided that:

  • An administrative or procedural error occurred in the award of a degree.
  • Information that the Assessment Board was not previously aware of becomes available and has a material impact on the award.
  • Following disciplinary action, the student is no longer eligible for the award of degree.

Revocations of awards should be initiated by the Program Director and presented to the Assessment Board for approval. Revocations of awards may also apply to program alumni in the event of certain legal or criminal actions or convictions.
