Force Majeure (Circumstances Beyond our Control)

The Institution shall not be held liable for any consequences resulting from circumstances beyond its control, provided that the relevant party has taken reasonable and prudent measures to prevent or minimize the impact of any program modifications. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to, acts of God, war, strikes or labor disputes, embargoes, actions by government or regulatory authorities, pandemics, quarantines or widespread illnesses, illnesses affecting faculty members, actual or suspected acts of terrorism, riots, civil disorders, or any other force majeure event.

In the event that the Institution is affected by a force majeure event, every effort will be made, within reason, to ensure the continued provision of educational services. Similarly, in the case of a force majeure event affecting a student, they will be encouraged to make every effort, throughout the duration of the event, to maintain access to online learning.
