Credit Transfer Policies

Vedere University seeks to uphold a clearly stated transfer-of-credit policy that maintains the integrity of its programs while facilitating efficient mobility of students between institutions in completing their educational programs.

Acceptance of transfer credits from other institutions is wholly at the discretion of Vedere University. It is assessed on a case-by-case basis and requires approval of the faculty lead for the relevant course. Credit evaluations are required for all transcripts issued by an institution outside of the United States. Transcripts are required to be evaluated through any credential evaluation service that is a member of NACES. Students must pay for their own credential evaluation services.

Vedere University will not accept in transfer:

  • Credit for coursework that is remedial.
  • Credit for experiential learning not associated with a formal training program.
  • Credit for coursework in which a student earned a grade below “C”, any grade designation below “P” (Pass), “S” (Satisfactory), or audit grades.
  • Credit for coursework which is repeated; only the last course taken is eligible for transfer.
  • Challenge course credits from other institutions.

Please note that Vedere University does not grant credit for work experience or by challenge examination and that a maximum of 6 credits can be accepted for transfer into one of our degree programs.

Vedere University cannot guarantee that credit for any of our courses will be accepted for transfer to other institutions, since this is determined solely at the discretion of the other institutions.
