Course Numbers

Course numbers at Vedere indicate the academic level and general subject area required for each course. Those numbered 500 and above are considered graduate level. Using a clear coding system of letters and numbers, Vedere distinguishes the level and subject matter of each course. Codes starting with ‘M’ are for master’s level courses, while those starting with ‘C’ are for Certificate courses. These codes represent the subject area, the course’s introductory or advanced nature, and its sequence within the subject area. For instance, an intermediate math course in a data science master’s program might be labeled as MDS-611.
