Academic Governance

Vedere Institute’s Academic Board, which is made up of the Vedere Institute faculty and staff, is responsible for all academic matters relating to the program. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Academic Monitoring – reviewing student evaluations and additional stakeholder feedback to ensure that the program is delivering on its stated aims.
  • Curriculum Content & Delivery – facilitating a process of continuous improvement for the curriculum to ensure it remains leading edge and approving any changes to content.
  • Regulations – creating and enforcing all regulations related to the program.

In addition, an Assessment Board that reports to the Academic Board is responsible for the monitoring and approval of course grades to ensure that grading is completed in line with our stated assessment structures and conducted in a fair and equitable manner. The Assessment Board – which comprises two Vedere Institute faculty members and the Associate Dean – will also oversee the work of other groups responsible for academic matters, for example, student disciplinary cases.
