The Vedere Institute grading system is based on principles of consistency and transparency. Faculty award grades based on criteria that are clear and visible in the course syllabus. It is a requirement to meet minimum performance standards to both pass a course and to remain enrolled in the Program and all students should be aware of the academic regulations and expectations regarding academic standards therein.
Vedere Institute uses a letter grade system to facilitate GPA calculation which is important both to remain in good academic standing and for the award of the degree.
Letter Grade | Percentage | GPA Score |
A | 90-100% | 4.0 |
B | 80-89% | 3.0 |
C | 70-79% | 2.0 |
D | 60-69% | 1.0 |
F | <60% | 0 |
Each course will publish an assessment rubric in advance so that students can clearly understand how they will be assessed and what levels of understanding relate to each grade.
